  • Each group of ensemble lesson can have at most 5 participants. There is no designated performance styles and pieces. The participants might have to prepare some percussions by yourself.
  • All participants and auditors are able to attend the question-and-answer session on August 2.

Keiko Abe's profile

Jean Geoffroy

As a multi percussionist, he is a regular guest soloist at the most prestigious festivals all over the world. Especially in contemporary music, he has made great efforts in performing premiere with composers.
For marimba, he has released solo albums such as "Bach Cello suite," arranged by himself.
Solo timpanist with the Ensemble Orchestral de Paris from 1985 to 2000. He was a professor at Conservatoire de Musique de Geneve from 1999 to 2006. He has taught as a professor at Conservatoire national superior masque et dense de Lyon since 1999, and also at Conservatoire national superieur de musique de Paris since 2005.
In 2009 Geoffroy was an art director and chief of the jury at Geneva International Music Competition.

Laurent Teycheney

While studying piano under Reine Gianoli and Aldo Ciccolini and piano accompaniment under Anne Grappotte and Henriette Puig-Roget, he graduated CNSMDP in the fields of : specialized solfege, harmony, counterpoint, fugue, analysis, orchestration, harpsichord and chamber music. Interested in pedagogy, he started developing teaching methods with support of the French Ministry of Culture and became head of the Municipal Conservatoire of Music in Montrouge. Living and working in Japan, he is publishing scores and methods (Ongaku No Tomo, Zen-on and Fontec) , CDs/DVDs (ALM Records) and pedagogical research. He is a regular member of the jury at various musical competitions, and is the creator and head of the Ensemble Muromachi since 2007. Two of his CDs called « Clavecin + Japon I » et « Clavecin + Harpe II » appeared on ALM Records. His research about solfege, called « solfege : what is the method for tomorrow? » was published in the journal of Tokyo University of the Arts. Laurent Teycheney is Professor at Tokyo University of Arts (Tokyo Geidai) , lecturer at Toho Gakuen and Showa Ongaku Daigaku. LaurentTeycheney
