Optional necks for the Custom Saxophones offer a choice
of resistance and tone combinations. The standard M1 type necks provided
with all models are easy to control with a well-centered, bright tone
and extraordinary dynamic range. The optional F1 types for the soprano
and tenor afford a wide-open feel with a dark, energetic tone, plus
a beautiful sound in the high register while the G1 neck for alto
can improve projection and free the upper range. Optional necks for
alto, soprano, and tenor saxes are available in gold-lacquer, silver-plate,
and gold-plate finishes.
