Located near Hamamatsu in central Japan, Toyo-oka is the largest
and most modern wind instrument plant in the world. The Toyo-oka
factory has been producing wind instruments such as Flutes,
Clarinets, Saxophones, Trumpets, and Trombones since its opening
in 1970. Although many of the manufacturing processes involve
computer controlled automated systems, final assembly and
adjustment are done entirely by hand. And every Yamaha wind
instrument receives individual testing and inspection before
it is allowed out of the factory. |
