A total approach to piano-making
Unlike most manufacturers, Yamaha takes a 'total approach' to piano-making, retaining complete control over virtually every component at every stage of productionwe even build much of the production
equipment ourselves. Rather than assembling pianos from parts produced by outside concerns, Yamaha designs, tests, evaluates, and manufactures all major parts in-house or at Yamaha subsidiaries and joint
ventures. This allows us to maintain the highest standards of quality management, and ensures that the Yamaha piano you select is fully worthy of the Yamaha name. |
The Timeless Touch of Expert Craftsmen |

One key to the quality inherent in Yamaha pianos is the experience and dedication of our workforce. The finely honed skills and sensitivities of expert Yamaha artisans ensure that every Yamaha piano is
flawlessly crafted and perfectly balanceda pleasure to see, hear, play and own. These craftsmen and technicians pass on their hard-earned expertise to the generations who follow, maintaining an uninterrupted
flow of accumulated wisdom that is reflected in every instrument we build. A Rare Breadth of In-Company Know-How

Another key element of the Yamaha advantage is the extent of our expertise in related technologies. With well-established Yamaha credentials in fields such as metallurgy, chemistry and electronics, in addition
to more obvious areas like acoustics and woodworking, we can leverage extensive resources within the company to help us raise the standards of piano-making and create ever-better instruments, along with
a steady stream of new innovations. |
