Mobile

Yamaha sound-source products for mobile phones have FM and PCM sound sources built-in to reproduce the sound effects of ring-tones and game applications.
They also have built-in DSP to perform a variety of signal processing functions, such as audio decoding and sound enhancement, for playing music.
The DSP is programmable, with program firmware downloaded from the host, enabling a range of processing such as voice quality enhancement.
