			Soprano Saxophone A smaller Sax in Bb which has a straight shape, and a very pure focused tone. It is very popular in Sax ensembles and as a solo instrument in jazz.			Alto Saxophone Pitched in Eb this is the ‘standard’ Sax, and the instrument most players begin learning on. It has a very versatile sound which works well for most musical genres; from jazz, to rock, to classical music.

			Tenor Saxophone This Sax is in Bb and has a bigger, deeper sound than the alto. It is especially popular as a solo instrument in jazz.			Baritone Saxophone A large, low pitched sax which is the bottom voice of a Sax quartet and provides a great foundation to funk and other musical styles.
