Assembly
In this step, skilled workers carefully solder and assemble by hand parts such as the bell, valve casing, and leadpipe.
Buffing
In this step, the surface of the body is polished using a buffer cloth and a polishing agent.
Electrostatic lacquering
In this step, the instrument enters a mist of lacquer particles which are electrostatically applied to the trumpet to provide a strong, uniform coating.
Adjustments and playing test
Before a trumpet leaves the factory, it goes through a strict quality and playability test. This includes checking its intonation with a strobe tuner, and also using an air leak tester.
