Key attachment and adjustment
In this step, keys and other small components and pads are attached.

Body assembly
After the bell/bow and body sections are separately assembled, they are fitted together .

Adjustments
In this step, the nearly completed saxophone undergoes various final adjustments (e.g., the action of individual keys) using specialized tools.

Inspection
Before a saxophone leaves the factory it goes through a thorough inspection and playing test. This includes testing its pitch with a strobe tuner and checking for air leaks using an air leak tester.
